Two Rhythms appoints new Chair

Two Rhythms (also known as Touch Trust Ltd) has a new Chair of Trustees. Samar Small joins the charity at an immensely exciting time as it continues its transformation and celebrates its twenty-fifth anniversary.  

Samar is a governance professional within the Civil Service where she oversees various Government Major Programmes, including the world-leading AI Lab.

Samar also has had lifelong background in performance and Dance, as both a tutor and practitioner; and sings with the BBC Chorus of Wales. She also has a personal connection to the charity, having raised over £4,000 for Touch Trust through a TaeKwon-Do Challenge.

Her most recent non-executive roles were with the Police Accountability and Legitimacy Group, and as a Board Member for Sport Wales where she served two terms and chaired the Equality panel.

Commenting on her appointment, Samar said, “I am delighted to join Two Rhythms, an organisation already so close to my heart, on this next stage of its exciting journey. They say, ‘Coming together is a beginning and working together is success’ and I can’t wait to start working with this dedicated and passionate team.”
