Staff Spotlight
Meet Chloe
What do you do at Touch Trust and when did you join the charity?
I am a part-time creative facilitator at Touch Trust, running regular weekly sessions on a Wednesday in the centre as well as helping out with administrative tasks. I also regularly work with the children, young people and families who visit Touch Trust for our monthly weekend sessions. I joined the charity in January 2020, so ended up finishing my training online due to the pandemic, and was one of the first members of the team to facilitate online sessions for our guests during the lockdowns.
What do you enjoy the most about working for Touch Trust? What inspires you?
I really love the positivity that comes from the Touch Trust sessions, and I love how everyone is celebrated for being exactly who they are. Everyone is encouraged to participate in their own way, and I really enjoy seeing guests relax and express themselves more and more as they get to know the sessions. We have some amazing carers and support staff who really understand and support our guests, and this is really inspiring.
What music are you listening to at the moment? – what helps you relax in the evening?
I am currently listening to the album ‘Everything I Know About Love’ by Laufey- it’s a lovely, relaxing and jazzy listen.
