Skydiving octogenarian charity founder Dilys Price picks up lifetime achiever award 02/10/2014

The octogenarian, who earlier this month managed to get into the Guinness World Record books as the oldest female skydiver, was nominated for the award because of her inspirational work and attitude.

Dilys, 82, founder and director of The Touch Trust, a charity which offers unique and creative movement education, touch therapy, for individuals with a learning disability, those affected by Autistic Spectrum Disorder, complex needs and behaviour which challenges, but also to other vulnerable groups in the community.

Picking up her award at Friday’s ceremony, Dilys, said: “I’m still on a high.

“There were very good people up for the award and I was very relaxed during the evening because I thought I wouldn’t get it and I just wanted to enjoy myself. It was a wonderful event full of people who are passionate about the work they do, I was really inspired and very happy to be there.
