Protest at Cardiff Council 08/02/2013

Today, Touch Trust protested the proposed funding cut of £15,000 for the charity, peacefully, at Cardiff Council in the bay. The procession included the playing of instruments along the way and at the Council and singing, to demonstrate our opposition to the cuts, on which a decision will be made on the 21st February. We will be repeating this next Friday, hoping that our efforts will change their minds! A few news reporters flocked to the scene to take video footage, including an ITV Wales reporter who stated that our protest would be aired on local ITV news tonight at 6pm! Below is a photo from the event, depicting Dilys Price and Karen Woodley.
